Clint Eastwood talks to a chair

At the Grand Old Party convention featuring Mitt Romney the Hollywood actor with accolades that stretch decades, stole the show so to speak, and when I say show, I mean, the entire show called politics.

Many have criticized his performance as if it wasn't well thought out. Comments like he was "rambling" and "the red light was flashing, they wanted him to get off stage, he obviously didn't know what he was doing" and on and on and on.

"If any popular comedian had done the same thing to George W. Bush, the left would be all over themselves with glee."

Many were left befuddled. The women news hosts on NBC and ABC seemed to especially have this tone to their critique. They said things like "he's an old man and he is obviously losing touch" and "he rambled and should have used a teleprompter".

Clint Eastwood is in his 80's and was and still is one of the smartest incredibly full of talent performers the world has ever known. He did exactly what he set out to do. His technique was scripted but everyone thought it was a goof.

Brilliant! He deserves an award for the most outstanding performance.
